Who doesn’t adore a touch of Carven? The French fashion house is the very definition of girlish insouciance and having long favoured a sleek yet feminine aesthetic it’s a brand that I return to time and time again. So imagine my delight when the film for their spring summer ‘Saint Sulpice’ handbag range came across my desk.
The range has been designed with city girls in mind and the Carven commissioned the exclusive ‘Can you hold my bag?’ film to celebrate the launch. The film follows a pair of mischievous Parisians as they flit around the capital’s picturesque 6th arrondissement; their sixties-esque Saint Suplice bags the perfect companions for frivolity and style alike.
Whilst the light-hearted film is guaranteed to garner attention, the beautiful bags will ensure that the collection remains a favourite long after the clips have been viewed. Rendered in understated red, blue and black, the supple leather ensures luxury isn’t compromised to achieve a relaxed, playful collection. Simply add an Alexa Chung style fringe and a slick of red lipstick and you’ll have Parisian style down to a tee!
