Brazilian born designer Daniella Helayel of

ISSA London

presented yet another exotic, stylish and wearable collection.

Having built a business on creating luxe looks for the stylish

but not necessarily fashion forward woman, Helayel created

designs which were both bolder and subtler than before.

Inspired by the Navajo Indians ISSA London’s autumn/winter

show was opened by supermodel Cara Delevingne who

sported a eagle print Kaftan over a roll neck with an enormous

floppy hat and pheasant feather plume, setting the tone for

the rest of the collection. The palette of browns, mustards

and forest green which featured in the roll neck jumpers

formed the basis for looks. Outerwear and maxi dresses

were tightly beaded at the waist to add definition to the

silhouette whilst wide leg trousers and loose skirts imitating

the flow of the Colorado River cemented the theme. ISSA’s

signature figure skimming jersey dresses were, of course,

incorporated in the collection in bolder colours, whilst over-

the-shoulder satchel bags were added to create a relaxed finish.
