bitecars while maintaining the high functionality of the latest-genera- tion Ferrari steering wheels. With a new HMI system, car interaction is more straightfor- ward and more intuitive. The user interface is designed to con- centrate functions around the driver, with an enveloping ef- fect, also involving the door panel, which houses a woofer with an aluminium grille and the central tunnel. The passenger area takes up this effect less explicitly. Connectivity supports Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto®, while the MyFerrari Connect system enables remote vehicle monitoring via a dedicated app. The driver assistance systems have been integrated to increase comfort and safety, intervening only in emergencies and when the driver needs it. These functions are configured through the instrument cluster menus, featuring the Adaptive Cruise Con- trol with Stop & Go, Automatic Emergency Braking with Cy- clist Detection, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warn- ing, Lane Keeping Assist, Automatic High Beam, Traffic Sign Recognition, Surround View, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. The battery and electric motor management strategies are cal- ibrated by four electric driving modes, eDrive, Hybrid, Per- formance and Qualify that can be selected via the eManettino. On the upper body of the dashboard, a floating effect with ‘C’- shaped air vents is framed in aluminium. Between the upper and lower parts, the contrasting horizontal band integrates the main controls and the passenger screen. The lower part is characterised by two architectural sail motifs that incorporate the control functions. Accessibility has been improved by reducing the width of the bottom of the door panel and adjacent areas, freeing up addi- tional space for the rear bench and the passenger-side glove box. The seats are available in two versions: comfort, with a sculptural upholstery treatment and styling that match the cockpit’s geometry, and a carbon-fibre racing seat, with sporty side bolsters for ideal lateral containment. Both versions de- rive from a combined study of ergonomics and style. On the Outside The 849 Testarossa models, designed by Flavio Manzoni and the Ferrari Styling Centre, reimagine the SF90 Stradale with a futuristic look that highlights technology and performance. The design blends sculpted shapes with sharp graphic lines, drawing inspiration from aeronautics and Ferrari’s 1970s race cars. A standout feature is the door, shaped with deep three-di- mensional curves never before seen on a production car. Made from a single aluminium moulding, it shows Ferrari’s advanced manufacturing. It also works as an aerodynamic duct, channelling air through the contrasting black side intakes to the intercooler, increasing this by 30%. It also incorporates an additional intake, reinforc- ing the architectural imprint and introducing the concept of three-dimensional livery. A crease line flows to the rear, end- ing in a double-tail design inspired by the classic Ferrari 512 S, which makes the cabin look smaller and more forward-placed. In its convertible mode, the 849 Testarossa Spider features a retractable hard top (RHT) that opens or closes in just 14 seconds, even while driving at up to 45 km/h. This capacity lets drivers enjoy the car’s performance in any condition, with the roof up or down, for a more thrilling connection with the surroundings. To keep the cabin comfortable, Ferrari added a new wind catcher behind the seats, which reduces turbulence when driving with the roof open. The car’s front recalls Ferrari’s 1980s style, with a horizontal fascia linking the headlights, to create a spoiler-like effect across the car’s width. Body-coloured flicks and a black splitter enhance the aerodynamic performance. The rear is dominated by twin tails, again inspired by the 512 S, integrated with an active wing for patented aerodynamics. A sculpted bumper emphasises width, while round tailpipes sit in the centre. A large diffuser completes the look, reinforcing the car’s extreme performance character. Images courtesy of Ferrari
