bitecatwalk FASHION WEEK LONDON Spring/Summer 2024 FEBEN F eben’s SS24 ‘Temple’ collection was another line-up based on the body, sex and love. The designer used this collection to honour her body and how it and all bodies can gener- ate pleasure. Now, I didn’t get this when I first reviewed this collection. I saw the clingy dresses, the sheer fabrics and open net-like-knitted gowns, but it didn’t scream ‘SEX’ to me. I must say, I like this muted magnetism. I later learned Feben used her naked body as the print on many of her pieces, sharing she grew up being shamed of her body because it wasn’t thin. This was her reaction to the negative body image the industry can sometimes instil in the masses. In that regard, I love this message, but as far as actual looks go, I found look #17 to be the best with its beautiful cerulean blue oversized moto jacket and silver metallic netted and fringed mini dress. https://feben.co
