The Bite Magazine - Spring/Summer 2024 - Issue 35

bitecatwalk I ’m a bit frightened by this collec- tion. Firstly, it’s unique that AI was used as the inspiration and artistic tool to create some of the prints that walked; however, I’m terrified of AI. But my tech fears aside, this collec- tion was fascinating. The monochro- matic colour palette made the prints and patterns pop off Crutchley’s in- novative designs and silhouettes. The pieces don’t necessarily ‘hug’ the body in the traditional sense, but they do flow from it. Despite the unquestion- able attention to detail, tailoring, and dizzying prints, everything looked easy. www.edwardcrutchley.com EDWARD CRUTCHLEY
