The two artists are one day apart, with Central Cee’s birthday on 4 June and Dave’s on 5 June. The 4-track EP includes ‘Sprinter’ and ‘Our 25th Birthday’. The birthday lark echoes Dave’s pre- vious fan-favourite freestyles of ‘My 19th Birthday’ and ‘My 24th Birthday’, first appearing on his Game Over EP. The music video was shot in the South of France and London, with an appearance by Nigerian-born artist Slawn. ‘Sprinter’ marks Dave’s first release of 2023 and follows the record-break- ing single ‘Starlight’. Last year, his phenomenal sold-out tour saw two consecutive performances at the O2 Arena, Coachel- la Festival, Reading Festival, Paris, Copenhagen, Berlin and 18 North American dates, including New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Washington, Boston and Toronto in Canada. At the beginning of 2022, Central Cee whipped up a frenzy by releasing his critically acclaimed 23 mixtape, reaching #1 in the UK official charts. He then had multiple global successes with ‘Let Go’ and ‘Doja’, with the latter racking up over 400 million global steam. Central Cee became the first UK artist with the most streamed hip-hop track globally on Spotify in one week.
