S igma Beauty was founded by native-Brazilian power-couple Dr Simone Xavier, a veterinar- ian and professor with a PhD in Molecular Biology, and her husband Rene Xavier Filho, a civil engineer, in 2009. The duo put their scientific knowledge into research and devel- opment to develop brushes, accessories and make-up products. Their innovative cosmetics are vegan, PETA-approved, gluten and lactose-free and their brushes are waterproof, making Sigma Beauty well-respected and appreciated by professionals and make-up lovers world- wide.
