bitebeauty easy to keep clean, thanks to the various brush cleansers available in the range. From sprays, shampoos and cleaning brush matte, taking care of brushes allows longevity and preservation of their bristles. Furthermore, contamination and cross-infection of bac- teria can occur when brushes are not sanitised properly. One of the golden rules of keeping them clean is never to blow on brushes; this prevents the bacteria from being transferred from the brush to the eyes and face, causing the spread of illness and diseases. The most effective way to clean brushes is to use isopropyl alco- hol or a brush cleaner like Liquid Brush Cleaner or Spa Brush Cleaning Pad . Spray the bristle with the liquid, wipe it, and run gently with a soft tissue or towel to remove impurities and make- up debris. Always bring the brush back to its original shape to allow the bristle to stay together and keep their compact shape. Then leave it to dry naturally. Often when intense colours or foun- dations are used, a brush cleanser is not enough; therefore, brush- es must be washed thoroughly. Brush soaps or shampoos like Sig- Magic Brush Shampoo are great for keeping the bristles soft and well-protected. Use one or two pumps directly onto the wet brush hair and swirl well against a clean tool to lather. Wash them under lukewarm water to remove all the product, with the bristle facing down. Doing this will stop the water from en- tering the ferrule, the silvery part connecting the strands to the handle, without diluting the glue that keeps the bristle hair togeth- er. Once washed gently and the foam and make-up are removed, gently squeeze the water out. With a clean tissue or towel, dry the whole brush gently or leave the brush facing down on a clean tow- el to dry naturally. This technique helps brushes last longer with- out losing too many strands. Always store dry, clean brushes in a brush holder to keep their bristle from being ruined or contami- nated before use.
