bitefilms Dungeons & Dragons Honour Among Thieves B ased on the tabletop role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves is a fantasy adventure film directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis, who wrote the screenplay with Michael Gilio. It’s set in the For- gotten Realms campaign and centres on a team of thieves who help the wrong person to steal the wrong thing, a lost relic, and they must correct their mistake. “When you do this, you’re bound to make enemies. Sometimes those enemies come looking for re- venge.” Whilst they didn’t mean to unleash the greatest evil the world has ever known, Edgin the Bard is determined to set things right, but how? Courage and magic will likely do it. As they watch an ‘owl- bear’ attack the warriors, it jumps onto a horse and transforms into a red-haired woman. The same creature challenges the team of thieves in the arena as they face death unless they defeat the predators. The cast consists of Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis and Hugh Grant. Like John Wick Chapter 4, Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves was initially set to be released in July 2021 but subse- quently moved to November 2021 to accommodate the release of Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One before being pushed back further to May 2022, due to Covid-19.
