With a runway show held in a marble quarry, the setting, while a staggeringly beautiful and the perfect backdrop to the lovely neutral and pale pastel colour palette of the col- lection, must have been difficult to undertake and manage. That aside, more than 60 looks walked is beyond impres- sive! Inspired by the resurgence of women who love to travel and explore, this collection is aimed at wanderlust. “The under- lying concept is informed by the independent and intrepid attitude of our fearless protagonist who lays bare her soul and sets her imagination free, inspired by constantly chang- ing surroundings. Her feminine style echoes the vibrancy of prints and patterns reminiscent of a safari trip. Slinky dress- es in natural, earthy hues combined with softer shades and animal prints are offered in light and fluid fabrics that bring the mind back to sun-drenched days in far-flung lands,” stated the designer.
