bitecatwalk Sportmax S portmax’s fashion director Grazia Malagoli shared that this season’s AW21 collection was inspired by strong women spanning the centuries. “We’ve looked at strong women who inspire us, from the distant past to the present. We wanted to say something more interesting and that speaks to the future.” And that’s exactly what they did. This very pristine and smartly produced line of long, lanky silhouettes from dresses to trousers to slim-cut coats, everything was paired down to the bones and rebuilt to be more streamlined, purposeful and efficient. Everything was divinely fitted, but what took away from what could be seen as sterile or too-clean-cut, was the addition of raw edges, fringed trimmings and textural fabrics which provided just the right amount of individuality and refined styling to each piece and ensem - ble.
