Pack your bags because this collection is heading toThe Lake House for much- needed fun in the sun, R&R and making up for our lost holiday season this past year. Going a bit overboard with exagger- ated broad stripes, nautical and seashell themed prints and silhouettes, this collection was about bringing the mega-80s luxury resort life back to modern times. From their atelier in Istanbul,Turkey, the sisters put forth a collection accessorised with a rainbow selection of Geordi La Forge-like sunnies much like those seen in StarTrek, huge, gold chunky statement bangles, earrings and necklaces, purses, sizeable gold starfish and round buttons, wide woven belts, and long jersey wraps and faux leather gladiator sandals. With radical and bodacious billowy balloon shorts, mini skater skirts, long maxi-kaftans, safari blouses with large pockets and shoulder pads, crazy ruffles, cropped tops and bandeaus, everything was styled and walked as coordinated sets also complimented matching headwraps, durags and huge wide-brimmed hats. The palette was everything a summer colour scheme should include: navies, citrus hues, coral pinks and rich emerald greens with pops of neutrals and metallics thrown in for stability.As a whole, the collection felt very ‘lux’ and decadent, much like something Samantha Jones from Sex and the City would wear. Large, in charge and all very bold for a summer line, the Sason sisters continue to push the bound- aries of highly wearable couture, which is, like, totally tubular. https://raisavanessa.com
