bite catwalk I LOVE FOUR SEASONS E mily Walls, the Lithuanian artist, and designer behind the I LOVE FOUR SEASONS label introduces us to her ‘Contemporary Creatures’ SS20 collection. Interestingly, the designer approaches the design stage after sourcing her flamboyant fabrics – allowing her love for the textiles to flow into her creative thought process as to how it should best be worn. The models strut sultrily down the runway, hypnotising us with a flood of various tex- tiles that were designed to best accentuate the curves of timeless women. We saw referenc- es to the ‘60s and ‘70s in pattern, design, and styling. Working closely with tulle and textiles, Walls achieved a look consisting of three-dimen- sional daisy boxers and headpiece that owed the runway – an innocent, yet über confident look for SS20. Flower power continued with a long white padded ‘70s daisy print hood- ed coat, unzipped at the torso allowing for a high drama look revealing adorable floral underwear. A bedazzled shiny gold floor-length dress took to the catwalk and left us lusting over it. The all-gold fingerless gloves and headscarf were styled with vintage shades for the ulti- mate feminine outfit that we were left gawk- ing at. Walls added a gorgeous texture to her tulle with a rose petal print and three-dimensional blossoms. Lustrous lengths of textile mould- ed a rose at the epicentre of an entire red look. These dresses and looks were styled with pat- ent thigh-high leather boots and ultra-high platforms that paid homage to female per- formers who wear daring and sultry garments with well-suited footwear.
