A mixture of prints and embellishments enhanced the looks, from tiered beading to statement sequins placed across the décolletage. Checks clashed against checks in strategic placements; effective and dra- matic. Elegant ruffled sleeves and modest high necks featured in several outfits while headscarves played a key role and colour coordinated with outfits, becoming a part of the design in flowing trousers and billowing satin skirts. Reflective prints were also reminiscent of mirror scarves’ designs. The AW19 collection comprised of smart silhouettes, sophisticated trousers, and tonal suits. There were also elegant and casual dresses with overlaying long sleeve tops and patterned jumpers with matching skirts, and layering turtle necks. Sweets corals and peaches blended well with soft browns, pastel blues, and baby pinks, broken up with bright oranges and blues. Adding an edge to a favourite reference, Fast put his skills with knitwear into play, creating enhanced and textural bodysuits and complimentary shawls. His skills are prided for his ability to craft his materials to the wearer’s body, following the natural curves with flattering bodycon pieces. Flattering and artistic, the knitwear was handled like a sculpture building material, moulding to the figure and bursting into voluminous skirts. Elegance came in the form and cut of each garment. A focus on the iconic necklines of old Hollywood, the form-fitting gowns were often paired with a shawl that wrapped around the neck and shoulders and cascades down the back. Tousled knits were remi- niscent of delicate feathers, lightweight and graceful. The combination of chic and sexy worked well throughout the collection. A chic palette made up of forest greens, zesty oranges, baby pinks, and blues and soft nudes, it had the occasional darker tone breaking up the collection. The addition of glitzy knits enhanced the starlet feel, shiny bright in amongst the sweet- er tones.
