Always inspired by the woman, not through her appearance but through the symbolic aspects, the designer upgraded her opus with discreetly innovated forms, remaining consistent with her prin- ciple of silhouettes with as little cutting as possible. Monochrome, but still poetic, this collection was a multifaceted apotheosis to all sleepwalkers, compa- triots, friends, associates, and those who suffer, help, support – in other words - gentle but strong women.  www.budislava.com  V esna K racanović Vesna Kracanović was led by her personal belief that ‘everything can be solved, and each solu- tion can be resolved in a new way’. ‘Sorbet’ is her latest collection in which she questions, or more precisely re-examines her early designs, staying poetic in her ideas and the application of innovative solutions in her production.   www.vesnakracanovic.com   Vesna Kracanovi ć FASHION MAGAZINE Budislava Kekovic SESTRES  The duo has been present in the contemporary fashion scene since 2000, and the SestreS brand (meaning SisterS) was founded in 2006. The choice of fabrics for the collec- tion ‘Threaded Snow’ was selected through the polarities of smooth, rough; dark, light; translucent, opaque; soft, firm; and gentle, strong. Sensual, soft and occasionally erotic forms are not in contrast to geometric and solid surfaces; the sister’s drawings some- times follow the feminine form and emphasise it, yet sometimes they sep- arate itself from the form completely liberating the function of displacement from the conventional and expected. The sisters believe that courage lies in harmonising and the ability to embrace opposites. Their pieces are designed for these kinds of women.
