bite catwalk ASHION Ana Ljubinkovic Sonja Jocic ANA LJUBINKOVIC  Ana Ljubinkovic’s latest collection is called ‘ELSEWHERE’. While still experimenting with modern elegance, the col- lection was rich in details, hand-decorated with zircons and lace, while luxurious materials of different textures were used and the styles emphasised the gentle feminine nature. But Ana Ljubinković designs are to be worn in the most ordinary, everyday occasions, namely urban high fashion. The collection is complemented with the latest ABO shoe models.   Ana Ljubinkovic graduated in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Belgrade. From the very beginning, the designer's fashion has a clear relationship with fine arts, which is reflected in her interpretation of ‘fashion rule’. With her creative power, the designer has succeeded with ease to combine reality and imagination into one world, always asking the question: is this the same as elsewhere? Her creations are worn by the world's biggest stars such as Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga, as well as Paloma Faith, Poppy's internet sensation, and Clean Bandit's band, Grace Chato, and many others.  www.ana-ljubinkovic.com  SONJA JOCIC  ‘Purification SS19’ is the investigation of the body and mind through a design technique that aims to eliminate negative impact on the wearer’s confidence, soul, sub- conscious and environment. This project explores the diversity of layered folding, pattern cutting, and draping by developing a designer’s personal method of extrac- tion and garment purification. The removal of negative influence from everyday life can be eliminated by chang- ing the perspective, modifying personal guidelines and choosing new life paths. The line-up consists of a var- iation of semi-transparent light pink and black shaded shapes and zero waste geometrical patterns, as well as bridal dresses and multifunctional garments that are tightly linked to the process of extracting, opening, cleaning and purifying the soul by giving the wearer’s self-confidence. Aesthetically the shapes, fabrics, and colours are inspired by water, ballet and geometry as these are one of the designer’s best means of making everyday positives of life. The fabrics are mainly made of silk and cotton.  www.sonjajocic.com  MARTINI VESTO by Boško Jakovljević  With his collection ‘Decadence’, Boško Jakovljevic marked his 10th anniversary since his first appearance at the Belgrade Fashion Week.
