The Bite Magazine - Spring 2019 - Issue 24
W ith a colour palette that resem- bled a beautiful sunset of blues and pinks, Roberta Einer took us on a wonderful trip to Morocco. For her London Fashion Week debut Roberta reflected upon her cherished memories travel- ling around Morocco. Basing her collection on one moment in particular Einer spoke of a pho- tograph taken of ‘a beautiful woman looking out into the sun’ and how this became the muse and inspiration for her collection of feminine and cool silhouettes. Comfy, casual elements are something Roberta Einer is pioneering through her brand’s aesthetic to design for the young independent woman who wants to have fun and look effort- lessly stylish while exploring and travelling. Beaded two-piece suits that had a gradient effect stood out as key statement pieces in the collec- tion matched the ombre sunset backdrop. Tops and dresses had ruching details reminiscent of the uneven terrain of the places Einer travelled to in Morocco such as the Atlas Mountain. The gradient transitional colour palette was compli- mented with her skill in traditional handmade detailing. Fun prints and hand embroidery added charm and delight to garments. It was a nice addi- tion to the chic style expressed in dresses and the two pieces. There was a more relaxed vibe in a series of hoodies and casual wear that appeared in-be- tween the more statement looks, and sleek suits and lightweight dresses went hand-in-hand with graphic hoodies and sweaters. It’s a clear sign of a designer who is adaptable to demand. Sleek styling and subtle make-up added to the effortless look and the beaded earring presented a quirky touch to the styling, matching the colour palette of the collection. www.robertaeiner.com bite catwalk Roberta Einer
