I
n a day and age where we spend over £2000 a year on
maintaining our looks, we are all worth a fair deal to
beauty and cosmetic companies vying for our attention
(and hard-earned cash). With all the products and
treatments marketed to us such as miracle eye creams,
body wraps and home laser treatment kits, it can often
be difficult to decide how to spend our beauty budget.
So what should we invest in? When times are tough and
there is not too much spare cash to spend, it’s nice to
find something that can offer you more bang for your
buck. This is why I currently favour facials. Whilst it may seem
an indulgence reserved for yummy mummies or Sloane rangers,
facials offer all the relaxation of a spa treatment, but with the
added benefits of tackling any issues you may be having with your
skin. Of course, it is wonderful to lie back and be pampered with
a massage and a consultation with a facialist can provide you with
lots of useful tips that can be applied to your everyday regime.
So all this being said, where are the best places to go for a good
facial? Here are my top picks.
