bitejewellery The founder says she has to love what she’s putting into the world. “If I don’t like something, I don’t really understand how anyone else would. I am my customer, in a way, and that helps.” Caron designs for women who want jewellery that feels person‑ al, expressive, and confident. Many of her pieces are named after destinations that have stayed with her through feelings, colour, and moments. Her design signature is the contrast of diamonds on colourful threads, which says everything. She also loves the gypsy feel of the caravan emblem: the sense of travel, movement, freedom, and colour. “The logo and its colour really matter to me. It’s boho, it’s worldly, it’s very me.” Her first true design, the Caravan Tabi silk charm, exists because of fashion designer Scott Henshall, a close friend who pushed her to create something personal. His encouragement marked a turning point, nudging her from curator to creator. Since then, every piece has been handmade, every stone set by hand, and every thread woven by hand. Even the simplest bracelet takes at least a week to make, and the journey from concept to completion can take months. The newer designs required even more technical development, such as sliding locks, waterproof threads, and reimagined construction. Unique creations include the Jaipur Sand Pavé Diamond and Tourmaline Bracelet, a tribute to the Pink City that first sparked the brand journey. Wandering through its vibrant bazaars as a travel journalist, surrounded by colour, craftsmanship, and stones that seemed to dance in the light, created a feeling this bracelet now captures in full. With 7.25 carats of pavé diamonds and 13.31 carats of vivid tourmaline threaded onto the signature sand thread, it’s essentially your entire luxury bracelet stack distilled into one perfectly balanced piece. The Claret Velvet Stacker evokes the feeling of that first glass of red beneath soft autumn light, its deep claret thread cap‑ turing warmth, depth, and assured confidence. Around it, approximately 4.76 carats of hand‑set diamonds shimmer with a refined, soulful glow, creating a modern classic for women who prefer their luxury to feel intimate rather than ostentatious. Finished with the brand’s signature spinning clasp for effortless comfort and natural movement, it layers beautifully with neu‑ trals, golds, and earthy browns. Named after one of the world’s most extraordinary resorts, the Gili Black Thread Diamond and Multi-Coloured Tourmaline Bracelet is luxury without the rules. On a sleek black thread, 3.40 carats of diamonds dance with 9.20 carats of vibrant tourmaline. The mix of colours against the dark thread gives it a perfectly artistic, free‑spirited, and expressive bohemian edge. It moves seamlessly from a crisp white shirt at meetings to a week‑ end tee and trainers, sophisticated enough for dinner, relaxed enough for country walks, and striking enough to stand alone as your only piece of jewellery. The Saint‑Tropez Sand Thread Bracelet with Single Cut Dia‑ monds and Blue Topaz is inspired by the effortless glamour of the French Riviera, where azure waters meet timeless sophistica‑ tion and every moment feels touched by light. On whisper‑soft sand thread, 2.85 carats of brilliant diamonds intertwine with 11.32 carats of shimmering blue topaz, creating a piece that feels instantly luminous like catching the perfect glow on the Côte d’Azur and realising you’re exactly where you’re meant to be. Likewise, the Salar Pink Thread Pavé Diamond and Emerald Bracelet is inspired by the otherworldly Bolivia Salt Flats, one of those rare, transformative landscapes that shift your sense of scale and beauty. It captures the breathtaking moments when pink flamingos move like brushstrokes across emerald min‑ eral pools and the sunset washes the endless white expanse in colours so surreal they barely seem real. Woven with vibrant pink thread, 0.85 carats of luminous emeralds, and 6.49 carats of sparkling pavé diamonds, it has a refined and timeless feel. Caron’s milestones include being discovered by the jewellery editor of The Times a month after launching on Instagram, being featured in The Times LUXX Report, and building the brand entirely from scratch with no external funding. The designer is most inspired by people who build brands with integrity and heart, rather than individual jewellery designers. She doesn’t de‑ sign for celebrities, though seeing Lisa Snowdon wear her pieces on the BBC’s It Takes Two meant a great deal. What matters most is designing for women and giving them the freedom to wear diamonds in their own colours and ways. Preparing for shoots and shows is still something she’s learning. It’s about trusting her gut and surrounding herself with the right people. She doesn’t sketch traditionally or construct pieces her‑ self; what she loves is watching an idea evolve and then seeing it finished. And the best part of designing is being able to say, “I did that”. Her goals are ambitious but grounded in purpose. She wants Caravan of Stones to become the brand that changed the way women wear diamonds, not only for special occasions, but every day, in ways that reflect who they are. The Meridian and the new minis are steps toward the simple, strong, practical, waterproof, and easy-to-live-in vision. Jewellery that fits real lives and feels like freedom. Colour plays a huge role in her world. Coral has always been her colour, long before she knew anything about seasonal colour analysis. She believes colour is emotional and deeply personal, and that belief runs through the brand. As for materials, she works with natural diamonds and thread. Years ago, after losing her engagement ring, she went to Israel to learn about diamonds at the bourse. That curiosity never left her. She uses natural dia‑ monds because their history matters. The thread brings softness and wearability. At its heart, Caravan of Stones is a story of evolution through a woman who followed her curiosity, embraced reinvention, and built a brand that reflects the modern woman: bold, worldly, and unafraid to make her own rules. It is a celebration of craftsman‑ ship, wanderlust, and individuality. A reminder that diamonds don’t have to be formal or traditional or reserved for rare mo‑ ments. They can be worn every day, in colour, in movement, in freedom. They can tell stories. They can carry memories. They can feel like you. https://caravanofstones.com The Thread of Luxury
