bitejewellery Caravan of Stones F or the modern muse, Caravan of Stones is a London luxury brand crafting diamond and gemstone brace‑ lets by skilled artisans. It was born from a moment of curiosity that stopped founder Caron Bluestone mid‑stride, mid‑thought, and whispered, “Look closer.” In Jaipur, India, surrounded by colour, chaos, and centuries of craftsmanship, she saw pavé diamonds set on thread and felt something shift. She had never seen diamonds treated with such softness, irreverence, and freedom. Each piece is meticulously handmade by Jaipur’s master artisans, blending ancient Mughal techniques with modern design. Root‑ ed in heritage but made for the world women actually live in, Caravan of Stones celebrates authenticity, wanderlust, and the stories that connect us. Every thread carries the spirit of crafts‑ manship, where every diamond reflects the bold and worldly woman who wears it. Caron’s path to becoming a designer wasn’t linear. “My back‑ ground isn’t in jewellery at all; far from it, as far from it as it could be.” She studied languages, worked in finance, mainly for European banks, lived abroad, travelled constantly, and later be‑ came a travel journalist. “I’ve always loved languages and other cultures (that came from my dad), and I’ve always been curious.” Although her past experiences hadn’t prepared her to make jewellery, it helped shape the brand. “It made me, and I’ve brought that into the brand because I believe in it,” she added. Travel sharpened her sense of colour, detail, and atmosphere. And the desire to understand how things work, how people live, and how places feel became the emotional backbone of Caravan of Stones. When she launched the brand in late 2024, Caron wasn’t design‑ ing. She curated traditional Mughal‑inspired pieces and intro‑ duced women to diamonds on thread. But the world intervened. Silver prices rose sharply, forcing her to rethink everything. Instead of retreating, she began designing more accessible and wearable pieces. The Meridian and the soon‑to‑launch minis were born from that moment of reinvention. They represent a shift from curation to creation while staying true to the original idea that captivated her in Jaipur.
