Its counterpart, the gold bracelet, mirrors the neck- lace’s elegance, showcasing a handcrafted hanging disk set with hand‑cut amethyst and crystal gem- stones, crafted in 22-carat gold‑plated eco‑sterling silver for lasting quality. Sustainability is equally essential to Sangeeta. “My priority is to design beautiful, high-quality jewellery that is versatile, stylish, and comfortable to wear. I also believe in using as many recycled materials as possible to create sustainable pieces that are both beautiful and ethical.” This ethos aligns with Moon London’s broader philosophy of jewellery “designed with the planet in mind”. Every piece is studied care- fully before creation, ensuring technical integrity, comfort, and longevity. Some designs come together quickly; others, especially those with multiple stone settings or complex textures, require far more time. “I am very detail-oriented and believe strongly in quality over quantity. Good technical knowledge and material understanding are essential.” Among her proudest moments is the story of Lynn, an Irish customer she met at a pop‑up event thirteen years ago. Lynn had never worn jewellery before, but bought her first piece that day. Since then, she has become a devoted collector, wearing rings on nearly every finger and stacking bangles with confidence. Stories like these, where jewellery becomes a cata- lyst for self‑expression, make the designer feel most fulfilled. Running her own label gives Sangeeta the freedom to create whenever inspiration strikes, whether at three in the morning or late at night. Sometimes she sketches ideas immediately; other times she works directly with metal, experimenting with tex- tures and finishes. She also enjoys the precision of CAD and the sculptural quality of wax carving, each method offering a different creative rhythm. Before every photoshoot, she builds detailed mood boards and styles outfits to ensure her pieces complement a range of looks, cultures, and personalities. Although there aren’t any established jewellery de- signers, she is inspired by, Sangeeta stated, “There are many talented designers in the world. I find inspiration in individual pieces, forms, and shapes rather than any single person’s work.” Her dream client is Catherine, Princess of Wales, whose ele- gance and strength resonate deeply with her design philosophy. But her broader goal is to maintain un- compromising quality and create pieces that form meaningful, lasting connections with their owners. As a qualified fine artist, Sangeeta has a deep con- nection with nature and colour. “I love shades of blue, which evoke the feeling of freedom like an open sky, and shades of green, which represent na- ture. White brings a sense of peace, especially when I work with silver; it feels calm and meditative. I also adore gold for its richness and warmth, reminiscent of the bright sun.” She loves working with recycled sterling silver and gemstones. “Silver has natural antimicrobial properties and is believed to support wellbeing. I also believe that every material has its own purpose and beauty, and I strive to highlight that in every piece I create.” Moon London may be known for its modern, hand- crafted jewellery. Still, its true essence lies in the designer’s belief that every material has a purpose, every gemstone carries a story, and every piece should feel like a small work of art made to be worn, cherished, and lived in. https://moonlondon.com Images courtesy of We Are PR via iimpro
