U K-based jewellery brand, Moon London, has become known for its modern, timeless jew- ellery crafted in 925 sterling silver and gold vermeil, but behind its growing presence is a design- er whose journey is as textured and meaningful as the pieces she creates. With nearly fifteen years of experi- ence in jewellery design, Sangeeta brings a rare blend of artistic intuition, cultural storytelling, and technical mastery to every piece that leaves her London studio. Her creative path began with a first degree in Fine Art, where she developed a deep understanding of colour, form, and emotional expression, which later became the backbone of her design language. After starting a family, she shifted her focus and pursued further qual- ifications in Fashion and Accessories Design, followed by one‑to‑one training in jewellery making. There, she learned stone setting, texture creation, wax carving, and CAD design, building the technical foundation that now supports her intricate craftsmanship. Sangeeta’s earliest inspiration came from childhood, surrounded by women who adorned themselves with colourful bangles whose musical clinking sparked her lifelong love of accessorising. That sense of joy and cultural richness continues to shape her work. Her sig- nature style blends the opulence of Egyptian jewellery, the elegance of Greek design, and the vibrant hues of Indian adornment, softened with modern Western minimalism. Healing gemstones are central to Moon London’s identity, reflecting the brand’s ethos of jew- ellery rooted in nature, energy, and personal meaning. The first piece she designed was a mixed gemstone necklace for her mother. Today, Moon London’s collec- tion includes the ‘Soumya’ Diamond Adjustable Gold Necklace, a modern, luminous piece handcrafted with a signature finish. It features six round diamonds del- icately set around a sleek circular pendant, suspended from a solid, elegant chain. The design comes in two circle sizes, allowing the wearer to choose the silhou- ette that suits their style.
