bitebeauty D uring my visit to the Professional Beauty exhibition at ExCel London, the scent of a beautiful aroma lingering around CorinCraft’s stand attracted my attention and made me approach them. The UK company spe- cialises in crafting fine fragrances for personal and home use. Founded by Robin Taylor after working for a high-street cosmetics brand, he established his natural and handcrafted range over 35 years ago. Since then, they have perfected their beautiful and unique gifts, creating innovative, natural, vegan, and cruelty-free products not tested on animals. Their collection offers a range of products, inclu- ding perfumes, colognes, shoe fresheners, and home fragrances such as diffusers and smart stones. The company emphasises natural and sustainable ingre- dients, focusing on handmade products from their base in Sussex. The essential oils are carefully sourced globally and selected to offer the best quality and longevity. Their signature CorinCraft aromatherapy can be enjoyed throughout the entire collection. The stones are sourced from Mount Etna, in Italy, an extremely active volcano on the Sicilian Island, where they are carefully and responsibly collected and infused for many days in the best organic oils. Formed from solidified lava, the rocks have amazing benefits and advantages. They consist of a naturally porous structure with numerous small holes. This porosity allows them to absorb quality essential oils for extended periods and act as a natural diffuser to provide a long-lasting fragrance experi- ence. With no need for frequent refills, lava rocks are among the aromatherapy industry’s favourites. Once they have absorbed the oil, they slowly release the fragrance into the air over time, providing a subtle, non-overpowering scent. By dropping natural oils onto the lava rock, the fragrance lasts up to a few months, and its aroma gradually diffuses around you. If it hasn’t comple- tely diffused, do not panic! The lava stones can be recharged by adding one to two capfuls of essential oil on top of the rocks. For best results, the jar should be closed for a few minutes to allow the stones to absorb the new oil completely before use. When sealed, the jar contains the aroma and freshly releases it when needed, allowing aromatherapy to be beneficially effective when breathing it in. Different essential oils are selected and carefully crafted to answer specific needs.
