Make- Up In 15 Minutes Get Ready bitebeauty Beauty Editor Giovanna Zac reveals her daily make-up routine and how to achieve a complete make-up look in fifteen minutes when rushing around in the early mornings. M ake-up application is an art that make-up lovers do ritually every day before leaving home without realising it. All products and technique applications are special to each of us, and we want to achieve our best every time. I want du- rability, staying on-power, pigmentation, good quality and multitasking products that save me time and money. They also need to be applied in a rush, as mornings go fast, and often, there isn’t enough time to correct mistakes or go over the final touches as you would typically do for an evening look. All products must be free from animal testing and be en- vironmentally friendly. Therefore, I put my make-up rou- tine to the test. I simplified it to give me enough time to get ready and look freshly prepared and ready to go without losing any of my favourite make-up products. This method is quick, easy, affordable and perfectly applied to last all day. The secret is using and mixing make-up media and utilising brushes to achieve the best results in 15 minutes! After cleansing and moisturising, I start my make-up with an excellent face product, Daily Protection Foundation by Kiko Milano. This tinted cream keeps the skin smooth, hy- drated and even. Enriched with sea kale extracts, its formula helps energise and perfect skin appearance. The creamy tex- ture is non-greasy and spreads easily without patchy stains. Rich in pigments, the colour blends into your skin, leaving a beautiful velvety finish. The sunscreen with 30 SPF protects the skin from damaging sun rays during summer. Availa- ble in light to dark, my colour choice is Sweet Almond 04, which blends perfectly with my skin tone. Kiko Milano BB Cream can be applied using a foundation brush or the fin- gertips. The following product I use on my complexion is Mineral Foundation Power by Annabelle Minerals. I use the light- weight foundation as a finishing powder because it gives fantastic coverage, allowing the BB Cream to set all day. The mineral powder can also be used for a lighter finish. I love this powder because it is thin and leaves no dry patches. It efficiently eliminates oil presence, especially around the nostrils and forehead. During the summer months, I need a good setting product. The powder is available in various shades, including sand, and is easily applied with a powder brush over the face. Using the multitasked Ten Image Kaleidoscope Bronzer, Blusher and Highlighter by Seventa Image for eyes and cheeks is the quickest routine. This light and thin powder quickly produces a great look on different skin types. The pigment’s richness can be utilised for face and eye make- up with the blusher in pink and peach, the contouring or bronzing in cinnamon and chocolate, and the highlighter in pink champagne. These combinations give you a healthy look with a gorgeous shimmer and sparkle finish. I also love to use the same colours as eyeshadow, applying the darker colours to the crease of the eye for shape and depth and the lighter shades as a base on the top of the mobile lid, while the highlighter goes under the brow arch. It gives the appearance of bigger eyes and achieves a natural look or a more dramatic effect by simply layering more colour.
