The dramatic silhouettes (some which puffed out from the shoulder and others that fall delicately behind a full skirt) created a spectacle on the runway that drew you closer. The fabric pleats inspired by Ukrainian illustrator Okhrim Sudomora’s work combined the brand’s interest in architectural designs, highlighting tenderness and sensuality. The collection, balancing structural garments and free-flowing fabrics, was a breath of fresh air, intent on exploring the intersectionality of fashion, nature, and art. The final look exemplified all three themes: an organically knotted black gown that ruched down the model’s body in a hurricane of gentle movement. Gasanova Gasanova’s collection ‘Winter Spice’ played with the theme of family traditions through cooking by delivering garments with a rich colour palette of warm hues. For the designer, clothes are meant to carry the same warmth as sharing dinner with family and friends. This focus trans- lated through her exploration of what comfort could mean in different clothes on the runway. Some were dramatically layered garments made to hide the body. Others exposed the model with sheer sparkly fabric, expressing the com- fort of freely existing within their own body.
