When the driver manoeuvres the track in a warm-up lap, the system identifies the circuit's curves and straights and automatically provides needed extra power. To maximise daily usability, the F80 features the main ADAS driver assist functions, such as Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop&Go, Automatic Emergency Brake, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Automatic High Beam, Traf- fic Sign Recognition, and Driver Drowsiness and Attention Warning. On the Outside Technology derived from Formula 1 and other motorsports inspires the F80's new body cell fabricated from pre-preg carbon fibre and cured autoclave. The front bonnet features an S-Duct with a fixed element connecting the two front wings. Like the LaFerrari, the butterfly doors with a dual axis of rotation hinge mechanism allow them to open vertically to almost 90º. The substructure doors are constructed from unique high-performing carbon fibre that absorbs dynamic loads in the event of lateral impact. The front section has an architectural definition where the wheel arch ends with a vertical panel on the door, paying homage to the F40's visual language. From the side view, its rear section has a sculpted flow that emphasises the muscu- larity of the rear wing. A whole 50 mm lower than the green- house of the LaFerrari, the cabin significantly affects volume perception, broadening the shoulders of the car to give the cockpit a more compact look. Its aerodynamic performance, including functions like the active rear wing, rear diffuser, flat underbody, front triplane wing, and S-Duct, generates 1000 kg of downforce at 250 km/h.
