She enjoys working with beautiful gemstones and de- signing new, inspiring pieces. “But what makes it worthwhile is creating something special for my customers’ meaningful mo- ments. I can’t express how fulfilling it is to receive a thank you message from a lovely customer sharing their joy about a piece they’ve purchased. I feel incredibly fortunate to turn my passion for jewellery and gemstones into a lifelong career!” She also loves developing the concept. “I find inspiration in na- ture, art, architecture, and especially people. People are at the heart of every design—I always imagine who the wearer will be, when and how they’ll wear it. That vision guides me as I create and refine each piece.” The founder ensures the jewellery is made from durable materials, is easy to wear, and has versatile and dis- tinctive designs that suit various outfits and occasions. It reflects brand identity, incorporating gemstones, symbols and elements with sentimental and cultural significance. Three pillars make a quality product - durability, design and eth- ical sourcing. “Quality jewellery is built to last, reflected in mate- rials and craftsmanship. That’s why we only work with solid gold. Timeless and thoughtful design elevates a piece. A well-designed item should be aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to wear. It should be ethically sourced, whether in materials or labour, and we’re committed to responsible practices.” The brand’s style is simple, sleek, versatile, and contemporary. “I wanted to create fine jewellery that seamlessly fits into the busy lives of everyday people. Think about someone working in an office all day, leaving at 5 pm for a quick drink with colleagues, then heading home. Or picture a doctor seeing patients all day or a full-time mum juggling little ones while occasionally meet- ing other parents for family outings. These regular folks need beautiful, versatile, durable jewellery they can wear day to night. Our jewellery is designed with each person’s unique needs in mind.” The first piece she designed was a pair of pigeon blood ruby ear- rings for herself many years ago. “Since ruby is my birthstone, it felt extra special; it was the first ruby jewellery I ever owned. I’ve always been a huge fan of earrings, and you can probably see that in my collection, which focuses on them.” Depending on the complexity of the design, a piece could take several hours to a week to make. Custom pieces may take even longer. When designing, Evelyn focuses on how colours combine two or three looks. “For example, I love the look of yellow gold paired with white stones, such as diamonds, pearls, or white topaz. Yel- low gold also works amazing with emerald or peridot, and white gold complements aquamarine or blue sapphire.” The brand works with 14-karat and 18-karat solid gold because it doesn’t tarnish or corrode like plated jewellery. Solid gold pieces are made to last a lifetime and can be passed down through generations. “This means you won’t have to re- place them often, making it a more sustainable choice in the long run.” Old or unwanted gold jewellery can be melted down and repurposed, which reduces waste and the need for new mining. “This recycling process is much more energy-efficient than ex-
