Entitled the Cantonese word for salty, pornographic, or dirty, it fits the persona of the collection perfectly. Lo is well known for his body-hugging designs and tex- turally interesting popcorn mesh technique. While he’s never tipped fully into the erotic or risqué territory of fashion, this season, he took the plunge. Now, when I say this, I don’t mean he sent down leather teddies and latex bodysuits but instead stayed within his wheelhouse of the seductive silhouettes but amplified their allure. Some pieces featured prints from erotic Asian texts and used satu- rated colours to give weight to the light fabric and knit choices. The thin ropes and strings wound, tied and bound around the models also added brilliant additions to the flirtatious styling, adding yet another layer of ‘withhold- ing pleasure’ and the various textures. www.chetlo.com
