The Bite Magazine - Spring/Summer 2024 - Issue 35
bitefashion ANJOLA AIBINU Anjola developed her collection based on her motherland, a textural and vibrant African print with colour-blocking of twisting structures and striking bright colours. The modest streamlined base created a blank canvas for the entwining structures that wrapped around the body, turning into different colours. The matching hat details added a nice complementary touch to the outfits. AMY WHISTLECROFT Amy’s collection focused on the combination of historic royalty and equestrianism. She was inspired by Queen Victoria’s diaries about her regal gowns and looked further into her love for horse riding. The garments combine shapes found on riding gear, such as saddles and horse- shoes, and elegant dresses to create a unique silhouette. https://www.uclan.ac.uk CENTRAL LANCASHIRE
