Put- ting away his clown persona from the horror thriller It and its sequel, Bill Skarsgård plays Eric Draven, a role that demands emotional range and physicality, which he delivers with haunt- ing precision. The modern version stays true to the original’s gothic aesthetic while updating its visual style with contemporary cinematog- raphy and special effects. The dark, rain-soaked cityscape is beautifully rendered, creating an eerie and captivating atmos- phere.
