bitecatwalk HELEN ANTHONY G one are the days of confined gender norms and welcome in the freedom to dress as one desires! “You do you, boo,” should be the mantra of Helen Anthony and her insanely fun, flirty and truly unique one-of-a-kind pieces. This season, everything was fair game regarding colour, silhouettes, and breaking away from the chain of what has traditionally been thought of as masculine and feminine dressing. They featured exaggerated shoulders, robust and highly struc- tured leather floor-length coats, gowns and knits in a playful array of rainbow colours, patterns and adornments. I loved the mix of media and materials and the unique model range! Young, old, thin, muscu- lar, male and female or both, neither mattered. Whoever they may be, they looked amazing and so free! I found it so refreshing to see a collection that allowed and glorified this newly accepted trend of dressing for oneself out of pure joy - ex- actly what fashion should be! The clothes them- selves are merely the accessories to the individual and not the defining the other way around. Over- all, I look forward to her next exciting collection; it is a dizzying display of colour, and hopefully, I will see more men strut in tights and short shorts. https://www.helenanthony.co.uk
