bitetravel The St. Regis Red Sea Resort Opens For The Winter Season T he St. Regis Red Sea Resort in Saudi Arabia, part of Marriott Bonvoy’s global portfolio of 31 extraordi- nary hotel brands, has opened for the winter season. Crafted on Ummahat Island, within a conservation area on the coast of the Red Sea, it is accessible by chartered boat or seaplane. The pristine private island has white sandy beaches and lush tropical gardens, with a thriving coral reef and a vibrant habitat for protected wildlife and flora. The Red Sea is surrounded by the world’s fourth-largest barrier reef system. It spans over 28,000 square kilometres with an archipelago of more than 90 untouched islands, dormant volcanos, sweeping desert dunes, mountain can- yons and historical cultural sites. Resort guests can explore one of the world’s little-known natural treasures through various water activities, including diving, snorkelling, pad- dle boarding and kayaking. The facility features a collection of 90 spacious beachfront and overwater villas with elegant one-to-four bedroom ac- commodation, each with a private pool and sundeck. Ex- pertly positioned, the villas will capture the beauty of the sunset with vast views across the azure water. The luxuri- ous interiors pay homage to the surrounding natural land- scape by drawing inspiration from wind, water and coral elements. The resort embodies the brand’s visionary spirit, avant-gar- de style and bespoke service. Every stay will be enhanced by the renowned St. Regis butler service and a curated selection of signature rituals designed to transcend the ordinary. In addition, the resort features five restaurants offering unique culinary concepts, two outdoor pools, a high-tech fitness centre, a signature spa and a children’s club. www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/ejhxr-the-st-regis-red- sea-resort Images courtesy of Grifco PR
