bitefashion W hen good girls want to go bad, Aniye Bi’s new sister label, Aniye Records, is the brand they’ll want to shop! Pre- sented for the first time this season in Milan, an army of super-glamorous, Matrix-like punk rocker models stalked the run- way dressed in a way that would be more at home in underground clubs than anywhere else. These drop-dead seductive looks of leath- er, lace, sheer silks, shiny vinyl and shimmering sequins instantly grabbed one’s attention and held it there. Overall, I loved this collection. Its feminine empowerment was like a swift swat of the crop as each look sauntered past. I loved how unapologetically sexy and coquettish it all was and how wonder- fully blended the rough and tough rocker-wear themes played with soft, flirty feminine silhouettes and styles. For example, look #14, the cropped leather front lace-up bustier micro-mini black sequin dress paired with platformed studded ankle boots and a to-die-for floor-length fur coat. Look #22 was a cute example of how to take a low-cut baby doll dress and construct it out of soft leather with black tape x’s across the breasts and black off-the-shoulder Victorian-era balloon sleeves nipped and gathered at the wrist paired with torn and snagged sheer black tights. This chic is everything sugar and spice. My favourite look, however, has to be the final piece.
