bitefashion P layful, seductive, stunningly feminine pieces sashayed around the mosaic tile and marble floors during Ermanno Scervino’s AW22 show in Milan this season. Bringing romance back to dressing and empowering women to feel good about wearing traditionally feminine styles, Ermanno presented a collection of wonderfully ro- mantic ensembles that exude confidence, chic, and timeless elegance without looking dated or as if one is trying too hard. I love Ermanno’s understated yet utterly chic sense of design, and his way of provocative dressing is divine- ly executed for the wearer who never has to ‘work’ at being alluring. For example, this season, I could not find one piece of clothing in this entire collection that I would not only wear but pay the total price for and keep forever. I was transfixed by the creamy white, rich caramel, saturated blacks and vibrant emerald, azure and garnet jewel tones of the colour palette and also hypnotised by the cuts, tailoring and fittings of the bodycon lace and leather dresses, the enveloping overcoats, suiting, suitable for a Girl Boss and glamorous floating gowns.
