New for 2021, the NASA Saturn V Rocket Tribute Timepiece collection pays homage to the most remarkable feat of science and engineering prowess in modern times, including sending men to the moon’s surface and back safely six times between 1969 and 1972. The collection consists of two models - Saturn V Moon Lander and Saturn VMoon Dust - manufactured in Swit- zerland to exacting standards with extensive details that make these timepieces unique. Saturn V Moon Lander in 316L stainless steel is a 1,969 limit- ed-edition PWD Lunar Phase Swiss Chronograph with Moon- phase Quartz to commemorate the year of the first landing on the moon. It has a four-stage case symbolising the four main stages of the Saturn V rocket, 3D-embossed case-back depicting the Saturn V making its way to the moon, Saturn V fin-form buttons, moondust surface dial and Saturn V F1 engine impres- sion crown. It also has a high-grade, anti-reflective and scratch-resistant sap- phire crystal glass, engraved serial and limited-edition numbers on the case-back, hand-applied logo and indexes, Super-Lu- minova BGW9 luminescent and three-dimensional multi-lay- ered dial in several colours. The hand-stitched leather strap is made from Italian or French leather, and the 316L stainless steel bracelet has pins for size adjustments. Both have a clasp locking mechanism to offer a more excellent range of wrist sizes. Saturn V Moon Dust Automatic is also limited to 1,969 pieces and has the same elements as the chronograph apart from the space-age titanium in a bronze case. It features a Swiss Made Automatic Sellita SW2000-1 movement, 316L stainless steel with IP coating or bronze titanium, which naturally patina over time and a screw-down exhibition with sapphire crystal case- back.
