The full- length spy-adventure focuses on Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow’s story, before becoming an Avenger.There’s no secret that the trained spy played by Scarlett Johansson has been one of the most important and sought-after characters for the last decade in the Marvel Universe, making the film the most antic- ipated theatrical release of the 21st century. Written by Jac Schaeffer, Ned Benson and directed by Cate Shortland, BlackWidow introduces a new set of casts like David Harbour, who plays Alexei Shostakov, aka Red Guardian. In the comics, he is the Soviet equivalent of Captain America, an ace fighter pilot and hand-to-hand combatant. Florence Pugh is Yelena Belova, another graduate of the Black Widow assassin programme.
