The Bite Magazine - Spring/Summer 2020 - Issue 27

bite catwalk R ohmir enchanted the LFW runway at Victoria House with their SS20 collec- tion of dainty floral prints and satin whites that served us the elegance and beauty of French Bardot vibes. Voluminous hair was styled with exaggerated side partings that took us right back a century to the glory of the 1920s. The brand endeavoured to serve their busi- nesswomen looks that would charm all in the boardroom and also on the lawn at dinner parties in the sun with ‘Voyage’. The models de- lighted us as they embarked down the runway in silk floral slip dresses that danced against their bodies and glistened in the spotlights. We were transported to the beach, where they pranced barefoot in the sand in sheer frill tops and feathered evening gowns. They topped off such light looks with small, essential leather handbags. The Swiss fashion brand served us profes- sional silhouettes of business trousers paired with plunging necklines in luscious silks. The collection focused on a colour palette of creams and muted yellows that kept our attention on their remarkable use of floral prints and fabric that evoked the decade of the vintage 1920s so effectively. Directing twin models - holding hands down the runway - Rohmir conveyed how they envi- sion their women strutting down foreign streets for a bite to eat after spending the day at work or soaking in much-needed Vitamin D from the sun. We saw the flexibility of the collection with the gradual build-up from their modest pantsuits to a flamboyant climax of dresses that revealed the curve of the upper thigh and the most perfect pocketed mini-dresses. www.rohmir.com ROHMIR FASHION WEEK LONDON Spring/Summer 2020
