surfaces, fluid shapes, air inlets, exhaust outlets, and the posi- tioning, shaping, and thickness of its floating C-pillars serve to optimise aerodynamic efficiency and support dynamic driving performance. The second-generation NSX has a total airflow management strategy to achieve critical cooling flow performance while minimising drag. It also provides precise downforce distri- bution between front and rear axles to ensure vehicle stability at high speeds. Final Word With a price tag starting at $157,500, the Acura NSX is relatively less pricey than supercars like the Lamborghini Huracan, Ferrari 488 and Ford GT, and truly combines brilliant styling with an ad- vanced suspension that delivers tenacious cornering abilities. In 2016, it was deemed one of the quickest, torquiest, and grippiest cars in its class but with improvements made for 2019, this has made it even better and widely appreciated. Also, its transition to battery power has put the NSX even further ahead of the game. Thanks to its high-tech hybrid petrol-engine, the Acura NSX doesn’t necessarily need to make noise to make its presence known, thus the driver can use the silent electric power option. Whilst its exterior looks will turn heads more than its interior would impress, the leather seats are plush and supportive enough to make long journeys relaxing and comfortable. And, unlike oth- er supercars, there is enough boot space for a set of golf clubs but unfortunately not enough for a large suitcase so a soft bag will have to suffice. So what changes have been made since the 2016 model? In ad- dition to the exterior colour schemes of Thermal Orange and Indy Yellow Pearl, the optional carbon-ceramic metallic (CCM) brakes can now be fitted with orange calipers while the standard iron brakes can be fitted with red calipers. The latest model is dis- tinguished by a new body-colour front grille garnish which was previously silver and high-gloss treatments for the front grille sur- round, front air intake mesh, and rear bumper outlet mesh. Inside the cockpit, you’ll find the colour palette has been ex- panded with the addition of an optional Indigo Blue semi-aniline leather theme. This leather theme is also available in the 4-way power sports seats in Red in addition to Ebony, which was previ- ously an option and is now standard equipment. The lightweight manually adjustable sports seats, wrapped in Black Milano leather and Alcantara, remain an available no-cost option. From a pioneering car brand that always took risks and pushed the boundaries of motoring in its early days, Honda (Acura in America) not only became the first Japanese team to enter and win Formula 1 races in the 1960s, but their engines dominated the sport in the late 1980s. The launch of the original revolutionary NSX stimulated speed, reliability, and practicality, thus Honda en- sured that they impressed upon this heritage in the dynamically, attractive-looking all-new Acura NSX that won’t disappoint. https://nsx.acura.com/explore/nsx bite cars
