A play between her British background and Indian heritage created a joyful and eclectic mix of styles, a mesh of memories meant to be shared. MEGAN HADFIELD Inspired by her experience growing up in a ‘football mad’ household Megan Hadfield channelled the communi- ty and comradery through the eyes of female football fans. Utilising in- spirations from team uniforms and fan paraphernalia, she created vibrant striped prints and digital embroideries in eye-catching shades of orange, pink, and blue. LOLA WILLIS The mundane office worker served as the fundamen- tal inspiration for Lola Willis’ collection ‘The Chair- man’. Taking it in the literal sense, she combined the typical silhouettes associated with officer workers’ uniforms (suits, shirts, and trousers) with elements of office furniture, in particular the chairs in which most spend 75% of their day in. Foam padding sat against the backs of layered suit jackets, with slouchy oversized shoulders and trousers with special JESSICA PARSONS Through a fully sustainable collection, Jessica Parsons presented autumnal tones of vibrant pops of colours, utilising and reusing threads and minimising waste in her collections of smart suits and ragged jackets. Experimenting with machine em- broidery and repetitive print, she created an effective design that carried through the collection while combining effecting tuft- ing and weaving that added dimension to her garments.
