The Bite Magazine attended the Milliner x Artisan Designer Hat Exhibition held at the Coventry University London Campus that showcased the creativity of emerging designers from around the world. bite exhibition Designer Hat Exhibition [Milliner x Artisan] T here was a time, when you went to university outside of London you actually went outside of London. Now you can stay within the four corners of the city and still be in a university that bears the name of a city outside the capital. One of these is Coventry University, whose London Campus is based in the heart of the city, just a turn of a corner from Liverpool Street. Although the university offers mainly financial-based courses, potential students can also study other courses such as BA Honours International Fashion Management and Market- ing, or MBA International Fashion Management and International Marketing courses. Housed in their historic building on Middlesex Street was the 2016 Milliner x Artisan London Hat Week Exhibition, a dynamic display of hat designs by emerging milliners. The drinks reception with delicious savoury and sweet canapes were filled with both women and men in iconic designs that would definitely bring the hats worn at Ascot up a notch or two. Milliner designer Monique Lee who dressed beautifully in a red dress paired her outfit with a small red pill box that had a huge feather standing upright along with an opened scroll that made you want to stop her and read what it said.
