It offers a wide choice of food, including made- to-order omelettes with your choice of filling, and has a more extensive range of cereals and juices. On the way to your lounger and parasol, you can stop off at one of the bars to pick up a cocktail. Lunch can also be taken in the Pre- ferred Club but there is more of a wider variety in the central restaurant with a range of mixed cuisine from the Carib- bean and the rest of the world.You can choose from a wide range of salads as well as a ‘roast-of-the-day’ and a selec- tion of fish dishes. Chefs are on hand to create pasta dishes of your choice with a variety of sauces available and there is a waiter service for drinks including wine, cocktails and the ubiquitous ‘Red Stripe’ Jamaican beer. For your evening meal, there is a choice of three restaurants: Blue Mountain which offers a selection of traditional Jamaican dishes; Portofino which provides diners with Italian-influenced cuisine; and Bordeaux, a more traditional French-style restaurant. The menus at these venues are more ‘set’ than the lunchtime buffet choices and so you can opt for either restaurant depending on the style of food that you prefer; all of these have good standard of food, are well cooked and well presented. There is a choice of wines available as part of the all-inclu- sive package or you can opt for more expensive wines at an additional cost.
