IS THE NEW BLACK HUGO BOSS ORANGEWATCHES B OSS Orange is a subsidiary of the famous HUGO BOSS brand launched in 1999 as an ‘up-to-date’ leisurewear line designed for men who desired a more modern and casual style. It gradually grew to include accessories and went on to introduce womenswear and children’s lines in 2006 and 2009 respectively. Although the brand had already been making its own watches, HUGO BOSS entered into a partner- ship with legendary Swiss watchmakers Movado in 2005, granting them license to control the distribution of existing lines as well as design, manufacture and marketing future collections. Founded in 1881, Movado’s reputation for innova- tion swiftly increased, and as they have partnered with brands such as Juicy Couture, Lacoste and Tommy Hilfiger, there is no doubt about the level of expertise that this brand brings to the table. As well as versatility, Boss Orange oozes quality and flashes of subtle orange that really stands out. Each season, the collection features a mix of staple cases (redesigned in various ways) with designs that are unique to the collection. All cases are made of stainless steel but come in a variety of shapes and colours with dif- ferent accents. Their staple designs are named after cities and have the widest range of options in terms of both form and function. The Berlin and New York ranges both have a prominent round dial and wide bezel. While the lugs on the Berlin range flow effortlessly away from the curve of the dial, the New York
