bitemen Casely-Hayford F ather and son design team, Joe and Charlie Casely-Hay- ford recently presented their latest AW16 collection to a crowd of excited onlookers who took in each look with “oohs and ahhs”. Drawing inspiration from the Beatles’ Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band and how the military uniform is used in pop culture, they were able to present looks that blended wild, groovy and psychedelic prints with exquisite tailoring, blending retro elegance with modern trends beautifully. I especially loved the tuxedo ensembles; the rich jewel toned floral printed jackets were gorgeous. The only thing that I was not sure of was the odd patch- work denim thrown in; as I thought it just didn’t flow with the overall look and feel of the show.
