Marketplace has been really
useful for us. We were one of
the original vintage boutiques
to sell through ASOS and as a
result we got a lot of traffic.We
are now recognised and known
throughout the world.”
With the official ParmaVintage
website launch last week, Gillian
has plans to push online sales
and campaigns. “I was desperate
to get the online store up and
running. In the next couple of
months I want to put campaigns
on the website and to sell more
items through the Parma Vintage
online store. Nowadays if your
company does not have a website
it does not get taken seriously.”
Gillian also places importance
upon the company blog and
social networking tools such as
Facebook: “Facebook is central
to my business. It is fantastic
for promoting and raising the
awareness of Parma Vintage. We
are active on Facebook every day

does not fit it can be returned
and refunded so there is no
risk involved.”

streets of Glasgow to ask the

EmmaWiggins said,“I prefer to
shop on the internet because
some shops have exclusive
online ranges that are not in
store. It is also easier because
you do not need to travel to
the shops.”
