bitecars BUGATTI T he Bugatti W16 Mistral Fly Bug emerges from the Sur Mesure universe as an object shaped by engineering brilliance and the ongoing conversation between a devot- ed collector and the marque’s designers. Within this rarefied world, where bespoke commissions become personal narratives cast in carbon fibre and light, the Fly Bug stands as the fourth chapter in a story threaded through nature, craftsmanship and imagination. It follows the Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Hellbug, the Chiron Hellbee and the Divo Lady Bug, each one inspired by the delicate creatures that inhabit the edges of our at- tention. The dragonfly, the muse for this latest creation, feels iridescent, aerodynam- ic, and ancient, and possesses an effortless majesty that mirrors the Bugatti spirit. Its presence is woven through the car’s identi- ty with the same precision that defines the marque’s most ambitious works. The genesis of the Fly Bug began with an exchange of ideas between the collector and Frank Heyl, Bugatti’s Head of Design. Jada Brookes follows another masterpiece commission undertaken by the Bugatti Sur Mesure team to realise a client’s design dream.
