bitefashion Scarlet Thomas Scarlet Thomas’s ‘Medieval Urbanism’ bal- anced medieval architecture and chainmail with 21st-century streetwear to create a cohe- sive collection made entirely out of denim. It featured a fitted and oversized shirt with long, draped sleeves and a swooped hem at the back, paired with tight, structured silhouettes at the waist. With a double-ended zip on the centre front, it was styled as the wearer wanted. Paired with a classic pair of oversized, extra-wide-legged jeans, it had a textured wraparound skirt added to the waistband. The skirt was created using small diamond denim panels, which were then stitched onto the skirt and distressed to add di- mension and texture to the outfit. @designedbyscar scarletlouiset@gmail.com Lan Jiang Lan Jiang captured the childhood experience of receiving an umbrella from a stranger on a rainy day in her collection ‘Flow and Fold’, turning the object into a symbol of warmth and shelter. With a powder blue and sun yellow palette, this was a fun summer collection. 15824153195@163.com Takara Thai Inspired by late 19th-century Bel- fast, ‘Glimpse’ is a conscious wom- enswear collection by Takara Thai, reimagining ancestral photographs through upcycled couture.
