bitefashion SHEFFIELD HALLAM UNIVERSITY Effie Koskina Inspired by her upbringing by the sea in Greece, Effie Koskina’s ‘Aphros’ collection explored Ancient Greek culture and the perception of women in Greek mythology. Ancient Greek drapery was modernised through an unconventional sportswear collec- tion that embodies the powerful, unique women who have advanced women’s rights throughout history. Silhouettes were inspired by the shapes of shells and the Golden Ratio found within them, with curved seams representing movement in sport and the flow of water. @effie_fashion Ellis Hutton Specialising in womenswear and knitwear, Ellis Hutton is inspired by historical dress, culture, and his ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) disability, which was diagnosed at 16. One symptom of the neurodevelopmental condition is an abstract way of thinking that Hutton uses to his advantage when building concepts, creating silhouettes, and forming collections. He also likes to use unconventional ma- terials while merging with traditional techniques, including knitting with plastic bags, sewing wire into fabric by hand, whilst incorporating texture and colour. @ellisdavidknitwear Caitlin White Known for her bold, creative, and sustainability-focused designs, Caitlin White focus- es on creative textile/print design and fashion illustration. Her garments explored the human body and its many layers. https://uk.linkedin.com/in/caitlin-white-88057930a
