The Bite Magazine - Autumn/Winter 2025 - Issue 38

bitefashion Seen on the Milan stage, the collection arrived like a sigh after a long conversation. Models drifted rather than strode. Lighting shifted softly from monochrome to rose gold, creating an atmosphere closer to theatre than runway. The soundtrack, a slow piano piece punctuated by electronic echoes, mirrors the brand’s philosophy as an analogue heart and a digital mind, making this designer distinctive. In an industry obsessed with constant transformation, this brand evolves through deepening, not disruption. The new material categories reinforce and expand the lan- guage of minimalism without compromising its grammar. The collection demonstrates how a brand can grow in scope while remaining intimate, and how refinement can be radi- cal in its own way. Called ‘poetry of style’, ‘POËT’ was about perception and the ability to see beauty in moderation, emotion in geometry. Somewhat limiting it as a fashion collection, it’s more like an installation of mood, a chore- ography of textures designed to evoke rather than impress. The final look, a sculptural black coat with a powder-pink faux fur collar, summarised the collection’s thesis of moder- nity softened by grace, intellect touched by emotion, per- fectly. As the lights dimmed, one felt not the usual rush of applause but a lingering sense of calm. DAVII’s voice had been heard, but not through volume, but through clarity. Davide Grillo proved that fashion can still speak in verse, restraint can feel revolutionary, and the future of elegance might lie in listening. https://daviiofficiel.com Images by Maximilian Linz
