Jewellery Designer Profile Amelia Scott A melia Scott has spent more than a decade shaping jewellery into something far more than adornment. For her, each piece is a story, a memory, a spark of joy. She is a self-taught designer who left university after six months. “I just knew I needed to be doing something creative and quite hands-on.” That instinct led her to her first role at a British watch and jewellery brand, where she immersed her- self in product design, development, brand building, and dig- ital storytelling. It was, as she describes, a real-life education that gave her the foundation to launch her namesake label. Her fascination with jewellery began long before her profes- sional career. “I’ve always loved jewellery and accessories; they completely transform how you feel.” As a teenager, she would spend hours customising accessories, mixing vintage finds with high-street treasures, captivated by the way a single ring or pair of earrings could transform a mood. That early passion has blossomed into a career where she now experi- ences the surreal thrill of seeing someone on the street wear- ing her designs. Amelia’s work is defined by a playful, vintage-inspired aes- thetic reimagined for modern life. The Amelia Bow collection has become her signature, with oversized cocktail rings and sculptural silhouettes that radiate bold colour and statement sparkle. Butterflies, another motif woven into her design DNA, first appeared in her earliest creation, a watch finished with a butterfly pattern, and are now featured prominently in the brand’s logo. The Amelia Bow Earrings and Rings are joyful, personali- ty‑packed statement pieces designed to add an instant pop of colour and a sculptural touch to any look. Each style plays with oversized enamelled bows in vibrant shades, from em- erald and blush pink to lime, lilac, bright pink, coral, and turquoise, paired with either teardrop‑cut or marquise‑cut lab‑grown cubic zirconia for a playful yet elegant contrast. The earrings feature a 3D bow holding a radiant stone and are crafted with recycled sterling silver posts. At the same time, the rings reinterpret the classic cocktail silhouette with a large centre stone wrapped in an exaggerated bow, including
