The Bite Magazine - Autumn/Winter 2025 - Issue 38

Maison ARTC M aison ARTC's AW25 collection, ‘Coming Home’, was a visual memoir. Designer Artsi Ifrach built his collection on a foundation of found objects, vintage fabrics, and reclaimed stories, resulting in one of the season’s most emo- tionally resonant collections. Each look told a different version of the truth that identity is layered, imperfect, and beautiful. There were tailored jackets fashioned from antique brocade, trousers stitched from quilted silk, and headpieces adorned with charms, em- broidery, and handwritten messages. Nothing matched, yet everything belonged. Ifrach's work has always lived at the intersec- tion of history and personal storytelling, but ‘Coming Home’ brought a special intimacy. Moroccan influences ran deep, from tradi- tional sequins to handwritten Arabic text, but they weren't framed as exotic. Instead, they were stitched into the garments with love and complexity, as though every piece was return- ing to its rightful place. A standout moment featured a long smoking jacket paired with a deconstructed skirt made from salvaged kimono silk. Part aristocrat, part wanderer, it was precisely the kind of contradiction Maison ARTC embraces with elegance and honesty. The overall collection felt handcrafted in the truest sense: made slowly, thoughtfully, and with care. ‘Coming Home’ was not about fashion as fantasy. It was about fashion as a memory and a sense of belonging. In a time when trend often outweighs meaning, Ifrach reminded us that garments can carry souls, not just silhouettes. https://www.maisonartc.com FASHION WEEK LONDON Autumn/Winter 2025 bitecatwalk
